Staying at Red Inn Court

review

If you walk along Georgetown streets, there are many other guest house but Red Inn Court is probably one of the best. No wonder this is among the hotels that has been recommended by TripAdvisor (read reviews here).

Front door. As there are few others guest house named Red Inn so make sure you are booking the one you really want!

The lobby. Breakfast are provided along with free flow of coffee and tea 24/7.

1. Convenient location
I like the fact that this guest house located in town (at Jalan Kapitan Keling) and surrounded by many interesting places in walking distance. There is a temple and many Indian stalls across the street. Among other interesting places are 3D Trick Art Museum, Pinang Peranakan Museum, The Camera Museum, Fort Cornwallis, street arts (mostly at Armenian Street), infamous Masjid Kapitan Keling, church, temples and many more.

Temple and Indian stalls across the street. The place is alive in the morning, you can see many Chinese hanging around the temple area.

2. Clean and comfortable
What bring good reviews to hotels and guest house? Cleanliness and hygiene.
The first thing I do after I checked the room is going to the toilets and showers. It is very clean I must say with all lamps and pipes functioning. There is also an iron and hair dryer provided for the guest.
I  have to admit that I was surprised when I first found out that we were sharing the bathroom with the male guest also but luckily we didn't bump into them while using the bathroom. Phew.

Ironing board and iron provided.

One of the shower

Big mirror and sinks to brush our teeth and wash our face. Hair dryer provided.
Toilets and showers in the bathroom.

I was afraid that I need to go into the shower with bare foot but worry not, clogs are provided! :D

3. New experience
This is my first time staying in guest house instead of the usual hotel room. We stayed in female-dorm with the other two tourist, one from Republic Czech and another one from Seremban. It was good to talk with them and got to hear their experiences.

Double-decker bed provided in the dorm.

Two double-decker beds for four guest.

In conclusion, I must say that staying here worth every penny & I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Penang.

You may go here to book. You are welcome ;)

Till we meet again Red Inn Court!
